About

I’m Emily, a twenty-something Kiwi who like all of her fellow countrymen have left the shire in search of adventure and fun in the big wide world. My journey has taken me here – to Denmark. A land I love but still can’t pinpoint why. And hence I blog about it, in the hope that one day something will jump out at me and I can say – that’s it, that’s the reason I live here. Until then I will keep pondering the mysteries of this happy little land.

  3. Hi Emily,

I’m a TV-journalist working for the Copenhagen based production company Monday. I’ve read your “Dating the Danes” blog on the Copenhagen Post and I love it.
At the moment I am working on a possible TV-programme about Danish dating habits, what Danes do wrong, how we could improve our dating skills and how foreigners look at our dating traditions.

I was wondering if you’re still living in Denmark and if so, if I could give you a ring to talk about our ideas for this programme. From your funny and very blunt views on your blog, you sound like the kind of person I would to cast for the show.

You can message me back on Facebook, send me an e-mail at amalie.dahl-hansen@monday.dk or give me a ring at +4541640961.

    Kind regards,
    Amalie Marie Dahl-Hansen
    Journalist at Monday Productions
